Took my pathfinder in for the first oil change and mentioned the abnormal acceleration responsiveness that I've observed to the service advisor and asked if they could check to see if there were any software updates or relearning that could be done. Well, the technician came out later to talk to me and informed me that there was an ECM and TCM software update that he did and he also erased learning values. It's been a week since the update and I see a big improvement. Feels like any other vehicle now. Smooth acceleration on start. Being my first experience with the dealership service department, I was very impressed. The technician chatted with me for about 20 minutes. I've never had that happen at any other dealership. Usually I've only talked to the service advisor.
