Glad you got it going. I wonder how hard it would be to put the 370 vq37 in one of these.

Thanks for responding to my other fuel thread. When you pulled the old motor, are the only real fuel system components the two fuel pumps? Is there anything in line between the two?

I'm not sure on the VQ37. I'd need to do more research.

As far as the fuel system: the low pressure pump runs up through fuel lines. On the DE, they connect to the rails, through a regulator. On the DD, they hit the HP fuel pump, and then metal lines onto the fuel rails. The rails on the DD are significantly beefier. Interestingly, the 17+ PFs actually have a higher pressure LP fuel pump as well. It's not enough to cause the DE regulator any issue (yet) but I'm on the lookout to eventually replace the 17 pump with an early version.
Thank you Bravo! That’s all I needed to know. I got the p0090 code along with the pending p0087 code today. It’s been sitting all week so I need to start trying to get it back in the road. I’m going to order the low pressure pump now.

Does the power and engine note seem/sound similar to the DD?
