The Rock Creek came with more aggressive tires for the rugged look and perhaps some light off-roading. Since you spend most of your time on highways, I'd suggest you look for a tire with a low rolling resistance and long tread life in mind. I've always found the Tire Rack comparison charts to be helpful and you can read reviews from customers who may have Pathfinders or similar SUVs.
