Rock Creek Edition ground clearance.

Need to have more options for increasing ground clearance and bigger tires. Ground clearance, ground clearance options and I will be a happy camper. I currently have a 2020 Rock Creek SL. But man, just the ground clearance and rear sag. Some interchangeable lift options like the Frontier maybe? Will be trading in for the newer rock creek if lift options are available.

Stock Pathfinder ground clearance is pitiful at 7.1" and even the new Rock Creek only increases that to 7.7". Stock Highlander is 8", Subaru's are mostly all 8.7" not to mention the Wilderness editions at 9.2". Yes, the Pathfinder really lags behind in that stat and I would love to see more options out there. I'm curious how large of a tire we could go up to and gain some ground clearance that way.

It’s a car. The suspension cannot articulate enough for clearance to matter. Pay attention and buy a vehicle that can do what you’re buying a vehicle for. You need a truck obviously, so now that you’ve vented about foolishly buying the wrong type of vehicle, learn what a truck is and how it differs from a car. Good luck out there. It’s a tough world apparently.

A little harsh perhaps, but I tend to agree in part. Actually, the R52's and R53's are crossovers, which mean they have some characteristics of a car and some of a truck. They were never meant to be an off-road vehicle (even the Rock Creek), so one should not expect the suspension and ground clearance to equal that of a true SUV on a frame body.
That's why I have a Chevy Colorado ZR2 as well 😁, my Pathfinder is the groceries getter and long trip vehicle, not the off roader.

Quick question in regards to the '23 Rock Creek...

Is the 5/8" lift attributed to the larger profiled tires, or is it an actual "lift"?

Also, what is the difference between the new Rock Creek's "off-road tuned suspension" and the regular new Pathfinders'?

(I already have a '15 Xterra Pro-4X for the heavy stuff, BTW)

THX!

The increase is 0.6" and the difference in the tires creates a 0.3" lift. So it would appear there is a slight suspension lift as well.
