Hi,

While washing my PF, I saw a nail right in the middle on my rear tire. I don't know how long it was there. I slowly pull it out and it is about 1/2 inches long. I checked it with soap, and no signed of leak or bubble.

What would you do? Any suggestion?

TIA

Btw.. My PF only have about 750miles on it.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier but it's possible that the nail didn't go in all the way, which is a really good thing. What I would do is buy the black/brown goo that they sell in tire patch kits or even tire cement and fill in that hole with it, that's if you can still find it. I wouldn't worry too much about the hole.

If you really want to make sure your 100% safe you can go to a wheel and tire shop, have them remove the tire and put a real plug/patch in that area to make sure it won't blow out or anything in the future.

Why take a chance? Just take to a tire shop and get it fixed. Easy, easy decision for me.
