Anyone else hearing a random popping noise from their '22 PF? My car is @ 1,900 miles and I recently started to notice the sound. It usually happens @ the beginning of the day and can't seem to isolate where the sound is coming from.
Is it the parking brake or the auto hold? I notice something that sounds like what you're describing on a cold start, but I think that it is either the parking brake or the auto hold system, as I only hear it right when I start to accelerate for the first time, and only very briefly. It actually sounds a lot like the sound that my previous cars would make when the collision avoidance system engaged, which further makes me think that it is the auto hold system.I've also heard a noise every now and again on a cold start. Mine isn't popping though, more like a grating sound. Almost sound like the fan blade is hitting the shroud. I'm hoping its just a tolerance issue, maybe the shroud is contracting enough to lessen the gap somewhere along its circumference and causing the fan blade to make contact. If that's the case, I'm thinking the affected area will eventually be 'grated' away and the problem will fix itself but will keep an eye on it. Anyone else experiencing anything similar?
No, coz the sound can be heard using the remote start as well, so way before any driving activity. The good thing is I have not heard it for a few weeks now so real happy about that. Hopefully it stays that way...Is it the parking brake or the auto hold? Have the dealer check the struts! I found out mine are bad yesterday. Low speed, annoying popping, turning to the right especially. Started at about 1900 miles as well. Same as my PF! Is this going to be the 6th recall?? My car also in the shop fir going 2 weeks now with all in backorder! They need to replace the two front struts, but the parts are on back order for now. The same with the two head rests for the 2nd row seats (recall). They'll call me when the parts are in.
2 people now with my same issue on 22 PF Platinum. Bad front Struts! Have your dealership check it.I've also heard a noise every now and again on a cold start. Have the dealer check the struts!I am experiencing a clicking noise seemingly behind the driver side hand rail.... Only happens mostly at night, during the day not so much.
I just took my 22 pathfinder in and the technician told me hisparents as the same vehicle as mine and the noise is coming from the cross racks on top of the car. Nkthing can be done except to take them off!Anyone else hearing a random popping noise from their '22 PF? My car is @ 1,900 miles and I recently started to notice the sound.
