Particles in pan of project.

I recently purchased a 2017 SV with a knock in the engine. We pulled the pan and found small particles and one larger piece. Trying to identify large piece. The piece is almost like tin foil but stiff and magnetic. Thin, maybe .015 think. Width is about 1/8 and length is about 1 3/4 inch. I attached a picture in hopes someone might be able to identify. Please note, the timing chain has been replaced. Thanks in advance.

Welcome

Knocking usually comes from a spun/worn rod bearing. That could be pieces of one of the bearings.
Remove the rods one at a time to check. The crank shaft might need to be resurfaced.
