Hi all,
I have been following this forum since I started my new car search 3 months ago... I was between the JX and PF but I could not justify the extra $$ to get the JX and its attractive extra tech features.... so on April 4 we bought our 2013 PF Plat Premium in Cayenne Red/Almond Interior.
We absolutely love the car, well... we only drove it for 4 days since we bought it as it has been at the dealer for servicing since, pretty much, day one.
Within 50 miles of getting our new car, the 4WD error message, Slippage Warning light, and ABS warning light came on all at once.
Our dealer said it was a faulty 4WD assembly module... a week later they replaced the part and I picked up the car. Within an hour the same lights came back on... I drop the car once again at the dealer... they diagnose the problem once again and decide the problem is the ABS actuator... a week later I receive a call saying that after replacing the ABS actuator they test drove the car only to see the lights come back on AGAIN!!
Nissan Tech then told the dealer to replace the actuator YET AGAIN, so now they are ordering a new actuator (which makes no sense) since Nissan doesn't see any other source for this problem... All of this while I drive a Rogue rental...
I really love the car but this is turning into a nightmare as I will be paying my first loan payment while the car is still in for repairs... it will not even smell like new anymore by the time I get it back... if I get it!.

Anybody else has had these warning light come on?

Great forum and look forward to sharing good news and pics soon... I ordered my Shark Fin antenna so all I need now is a car to install it on! :(

Have a great weekend!

I would start the arbitration process with nissan, send a written request letting them know that this is not acceptable, at the same time start the process with the bbb; depending on the state where you reside you can even begin the lemon law process, to me it seems like you got a lemon so start the process and get a new pathy bro.... you are spending too much time/money on this. if you wait for the dealer to do something you will be driving that shitty rogue for at least 2 months

Hi LOGICZ,
I contacted Nissan Support via facebook and twitter yesterday and they assigned a Case# and a specialist should contact me on Monday to get details.
I looked into lemon law in Nevada but I hope to get to an agreement with Nissan if the problem is not solved this week as to get a new Path asap since this is getting old.

I absolutely love the car and wouldn't buy any other suv in the market right now as it is impossible to get what the PF offers for that price so I honestly hope this ends on a high note so I can start to enjoy it...

I will keep you posted.

Thanks a lot.
Luis

The good thing here is that if the problem is really not solved you can request for a new car. I dont think this is a good judgement of all Pathfinders - you just got the short straw.

Let us know how it goes and if you are able to get a resolution. I'd be interested in Nissan goes through with the lemon law if it comes available.

Hi, I finally got the car back today after the dealer replaced the ABS actuator for the second time per Nissan's Tech advice.
This time it seems it fixed the problem (knock on wood). Time will tell since it took some time before to trigger the issue.
For now the machine is in my garage so that is good news... Nissan Customer Affairs contacted me yesterday so they are on the loop regarding my issues.

I will be installing the shark fin antenna this weekend so I will post pictures when I am done.

That is good to hear. Hopefully the lights stay off.

The first ABS actuator could have been faulty.
