Hello everyone,

Just picked up a 17 Pathfinder SV the other day and pretty happy with it. I like how spacious it is compared to the rogue I have as well. Hope to learn more about this suv and maintain it well. Will most likely be looking for info on the cvt issues Nissan has always had.

Starting with the 2017 model year, CVT issues became less troublesome.

Nice! Welcome.

Make sure you have oil change records from new and my recommendation is don't go beyond 4000 miles between oil changes on your 2017. It has a different engine design than your Rogues did and the 2013-2016 Pathfinders did. The direct injection these engines have, have a tendency to sludge up the engine. Quite a few threads on it now.
