I know with the ZF 8spd in my Ram pickup, per ZF, the danger zone at which the ATF will start to degrade more rapidly is 240F fluid temp. Normal operating temp is 185F for them. Obviously this isn't a Nissan CVT though. Just a reference point.

Ya my zf9 Cherokee was 160-170 normally. 175 max i ever saw.

The cvtz50 changes the cvt temp monitor from ok to hot at 192 i believe it was. Im sure it has some room to go before trans computer safety measures step in.

Forgot to add, the deterioration counter at the bottom starts ticking at 192 also. The number in parenthesis is the count that you added on this trip.
