Earlier this week I emailed offroad companies to see if any had lift kits planned or were interesting in making something for the Pathfinder. Rough Country, Radflo, LP Aventure, and Ironman 4x4 all gave short responses and didn't seem interested.

Dobinsons USA currently has Pathfinder r52/r53 springs available which gives a 30mm lift (1.2 inch), and they're working on shock absorbers to make a complete kit. The shocks will compliment the ride quality but won't add more lift. They mentioned the Pathfinder can't be lifted 3-4 inches.

Roger that, I'm on it. Also looking forward to the improved shocks. I'll keep everyone in the loop with my order and install.

Actual "springs" that provide any lift is better than stock springs w/ "spacers". Still gotta figure out control arm angles & lengths, etc. Kinda figured we couldn't get a full-up 3-4" lift kit due to the R53 drivetrain & suspension setup...

I emailed few more offroad companies last week for lift kits and covert/lowpro front bumpers. Bilstein, King Shocks, Peak Suspension, C4 Fabrication, and CBI offroad...nothing offered and nothing planned.

All Dogs Offroad is interested in making a lift kit for the Pathfinder but they need a vehicle. Is anyone near Lincoln NE?

I'll get you a fancy $50 gift card to Western Sizzlin' if you do.:ROFLMAO:
I'm new to the lift kit world and would need to know a bit about what it would take. Time is the big factor, although I could maybe buy a beater to drive around in the meantime. Just depends on what's all needed. Definitely interested in a 3" kit though

As much as I'd like to have it, I don't think a 3" suspension lift would be possible for our R53 Pathfinders. This would require a significant change in the upper and lower a-arms, in the suspension components as well as all drivetrain, steering, and brake components (i.e. not a conventional 4wd setup).

1" to 2" suspension lift would be more feasible for our R53s. My previous personal experiences with my lifted Jeep Wrangler, Isuzu Rodeo Sport, and current Xterra PRO-4X is what I'm basing this on, as I know our Pathfinders are totally different and would be a lot more complicated to fabricate a good proper lift for. My Wrangler, R.Sport("Amigo"), and X were all easily lifted (safely and completely) by myself, but these new Pathfinders will be a challenge...

Fair enough, still interested in going out to Lincoln. If I reached out to them and mention this forum, would they know what I am talking about?

Aside from a lift, suppose I could gain a bit with different rim and tire sizes on top of adding some spacers? Not looking for real offroading, just want a couple inches to help with more rugges roads and some minor offroad driving (ie: around a farm)

Rim back-spacing on aftermarket wheels and tire sizes is where that comes into play, as long as it's nothing too different from stock. And that's only if we can get the a-arms to remain at stock length (but at a different angle). The ECU, gearing, speedo, and fuel points (& more) will have to be tweaked for everything to run as efficiently as possible, but out main concern will be the suspension geometry and drivetrain setup (especially with AWD). I'd stick close to stock rim & tire sizes, use proper hub centric wheel spacers, lengthening and reenforcement of brake lines & components and such while pursuing at most a 2" suspension lift. My current 1 1/2" spacer lift (w/ wheel spacers) is just "OK" but too much of a hassle with tire wear from changes to stock camber. This is why a proper kit is a must for correct suspension travel.

Cool!

Email them info@alldogsoffroad.com

@dylsciple i apologize, my email wasn’t confirmed so I didn’t get notification of your reply. All I did was email sales@calmini.com and they got back to me same day. I would just reach out and mention this forum and the fact that people have reached out prior but have been told they needed a donated test vehicle.
Any update on this

Hi everyone. Been following this thread for a while since I'm also interested in eventually lifting my 23' RC. Disappointed to hear there aren't anything available yet, especially since the SEMA build led us to believe it would be an available option. Although it's a unibody, I can't imagine it being impossible as my unibody R50 pathfinder (albeit solid rear axle) was able to get a functional 3" lift just from tires and taller springs. They also currently make subframe drops that can get you 4+" lift.

There are Honda passport, pilot, and ridgeline owners that are finding lift options that include subframe drops thus avoiding too much of an extreme axle angle. I recently reached out to HRG Offroad who seem to specialize in unibody liftkits and have even lifted a Honda CRV and Element. Here's a YT vid that shows their shop and process...

They said they haven't seen much Nissans in their shop but were interested in developing a lift kit for mine. Problem is they're in North Carolina and I'm in California. Is there anyone near that area that is interested?

That's pretty sad that Honda car-based AWD SUV's receive more suspension options than Nissan these days. There was once a time when Nissan was just as legendary as Toyota when it came to off-road exploits...
