Hello, 2023 pathfinder premium 2 WD with 7600 miles on it.

Anyone else's ISS operate way to slow to be functional?

If I hit the gas quickly coming off a light and the ISS is engaged the car will shudder and sputter and fail to accelerate for a few seconds. There is an initial move forward and then it typically border line stalls out before jerking ahead. I have even had the car stall out completely if I hit the gas with some force.

Is this a defect or is this just an unfortunate side effect from the ISS system?

Funny, I just got my 22 SL a month ago with 5,000 mi on it. Prior to this I had a Kia Sportage with the same pain in the ass. From what I've read online it actually reduces fuel consumption and my fears of prematurely shorting out the starter and battery have gone away, although I've yet to see any actual tests available online and the results. I know there are third party kits that you can use to turn the feature off, but coming out of a dead stop mine coughs and wheezes just the same as you described.
