HVAC Control head

I have a 2015 pathfinder SL and the AC/Heat unit is stuck blowing on full blast. I’m unable to change the temperature or the force in which it’s coming out. It has been doing this on and off for a few months and it’s finally happened to where the dealer figured out the problem.
They’re saying it’s the HVAC Control head that needs to be replaced and I’m looking to spend up to $1500 at the dealership.
I’m wondering if there’s a cheaper fix or am I out of $1500

Welcome to the forum.

If you already have a quote and know exactly what you need, I'd try finding one at your local scrap yard.
Although electronics go bad without a warning, there have not been many cases of these going bad.
