Hello peoples. :)

Long time mechanic and former auto shop owner. Just bought a 1999 Pathfinder SE with 245K on the clock and still running strong. First repair will be new front brake rotors, pads and calipers. Complete overhaul of the front control arms & bushings, ball joints, tie rods and rack boots.
Rear suspension is getting new upper and lower control arms and the pan hard rod. All parts arriving this week.
Also need to troubleshoot an intermittent misfire on #4 cylinder. Randomly happens only on initial startup and clears up after a few minutes. PO replaced distributor, wires and plugs. T-belt was done 20K miles ago.

I bought this vehicle because I'm moving to Asheville where it snows. Also wanting to explore the mountain back roads.

Looking forward to becoming part of the community. :)

We welcome you to the forum and appreciate your expertise.
This site specializes in the 2013+ Pathfinder (been like that since I joined) but we recently added sections for all year Pathfinders. Maybe if we start seeing more traffic on the older models, new sub forums could be added.
