Display/Nav/Radio have stopped working.

The Display/radio etc. on my 2017 Pathfinder SL (38000 Miles) has stopped working. Something seems to have faded because at first the Nissan Logo would appear but never boot up; the cameras would work only in reverse but today the screen is totally dark and without power and no cameras at all.
I have removed every fuse inside the vehicle and verified good with a meter. I have pulled all fuses from the engine compartment and they are all good as well. Someone suggested that the ACC relay above the engine might be the problem so I swapped that for another but still no luck. I managed to remove the Extended Storage fuse and replaced it with another although that fuse tested OK too. I disconnected the battery and let it sit overnight but this did not help either.
Does not sound like a fuse because things got progressively worse, but then again, I could be wrong. Is there another relay associated with the console that I am missing?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Something temperamental going on here; I started the engine and momentarily I had a camera shot when in reverse; moving the car into the garage I can see the display cycling on and off every 5 seconds...just black to blank screen.
Dealers are shady on the topic. Did the fuse routine and all checked out. Will be popping relays next. Driving me nuts because it’s all working to some degree, just can’t get the controls or GPS on screen, and no audio, but radio has power. We shall solve this mystery eventually!
I have come to the conclusion that the problem is the IT/Audio/ Visual Controller. ( I may be wrong but time will tell). That part number is 25915-4HB4F listing at $1306.87 at the local dealer.
So I decided to see if I could find it myself, and sure enough, it nested in the rack between the radio and temperature controller. There are many of these units pulled from the Infinity, but they all have the same part number. I don't know for sure if I'm on to it, but a Wrecker in Mississippi is sending one to me via UPS for $60. I put all the pieces in a box, and this picture is what it looks like. The "controller" is the blueish chassis with the 3 colored connector ports (for the video monitor, I expect).
If I'm right and I can reassemble my car, I will make another post next week. (BtW. A friend is driving an F150 with the same problem; the
Automotive design Motor vehicle Computer Machine Engineering

dealer has ordered a new board for him $1200. Installation cost will be interesting).

Axel, have you had any luck with the replacement part yet? I tried swapping the acc relay with the one next to it, and checked every fuse I could find, still no luck here. Just the on/off nissan logo on screen and camera working. No radio features but the main unit will take a CD and eject it, manual heat controls work. Dreading the possible high dollar solutions
Road King; I am still without anything on the console. I removed the "computer" nested between the radio and the plastic heating control and replace it with TWO different units bought off eBay...still dead! I went to the dealer where I bought this machine and they were totally unhelpful: "We can make an appointment for next week and the first charge is for one hour ($150.) to analyze the problem...it may take that long to get into the dash...(It now takes me 10 minutes to take things apart). The Service Manager did say that there are 3 Computer modules that have to talk to each other.
Your dread of high dollar solution is well founded and I'm trying my best to avoid another mortgage to get this fixed.
I'm now thinking that the Monitor itself is the problem (I may be totally wrong again!) since it has gone totally dead without the intermittent flashes. On Friday, I ordered a monitor again off eBay and am awaiting confirmation of shipping. This monitor is pretty unique and I could only find 2 with the wiring like mine. It is over $2900 new so I'm taking a chance on a wrecker and willing to keep trying to replace parts...I will shoot myself it turns out to be a bad wire under the hood.

OK, the "New" monitor arrived today and I am at my wits end...still not a thing working on the display including Radio/cameras/A/C...nada! Don't know where to go from here but maybe try to find a shop that specializes in Electrics or keep trying to find electrical diagrams. .
OK, the ongoing saga of a 2017 Pathfinder SL (35000 Miles)...no video, radio/CD/Cameras. It spent 5 days at the Dealership here in Furlong, PA and the resulting diagnosis was that the DCU had a problem..".what's a DCU? Domain Control Unit??? They are on Backorder and the price is $1849.95, Pay up front and we will order it for you...BTW, your rear brakes need replacing." I cannot find a part called a DCU online so I assumed it was this:
2017 Nissan Pathfinder Engine Computer ECM ECU | BED403-300 A1 (Careful to make sure all numbers matched)
So I ordered one from Ebay and installed it but now the engine will not even fire. Reinstalled the old Computer and back to normal flashing screen and nothing else working.
I'm wondering if the Service guy was really talking about a DCU meaning a "Display Control Unit" and if so, I had already replaced that with one from a recycler at $250.00.
What a cluster....? I am willing to pay the $1800 fix if I could be sure that was the problem but not without some assurance? Off to another Dealership today!

So the new Dealership analyzed my problem, had the part in the next day, and today they repaired the vehicle for $750. plus $136 for labor. One month with this problem and I can only say that Fred Beans of Doylestown,PA will never see this vehicle again. If anyone else has this problem just post it and I can supply the part number and save yourself a lot of ag.

Why not just go ahead and share it?
Who do you suggest I share this with?
The members of this forum.
Post it and it will help many others when needed.
Pardon my lack of understanding but I thought that once I posted the conversation it was visible to everyone here.. This is what I wanted to do since I learned a lot.
Please enlighten me. Thank you.

I understand that the dealer was able to resolve your issue and if anyone else has the same, you can provide them (upon request) the part number to fix it, or did I get this wrong?

So, why not just post the PN now so anyone in the future that reads this thread, has a potential fix to this issue.

The whole problem with my 2017 Console/display/CD/Radio/Nav/Cameras was the Video Display! After 5 days at a Dealership they were unable to diagnose the problem until a Nissan Rep visited and said it was a DCU. (I'm repeating myself here but the Dealership has no one on staff that that knew the first thing about the electronics). I attempted to replace the three IT components including the Main Control Unit under the hood but I soon learned that although the part numbers are identical, they must be "re-configured" to your particular car. I even replaced the DCV Display Unit (that proved to be the original problem) but of course it would not work for me because I didn't know how to re-configure the thing.
So end of story, after a frustrating month, it was repaired a week ago at a second Dealership I went to for an analysis.

First dealership quote....$1849.95
Infinitypartsdeals.com (Same part number) $3152,95
Second Dealership and got my business...$750. and is working beautifully, installed in less than an hour.

This part number as stated in my invoice:

1 Denzo DCV Display Unit -283875ZA0A $750.
9844 CP 1.00 $136. (Labor)

I have been a weekend mechanic all my adult life and have even owned Triumphs and changed engines. I am also a pretty good computer tech, having changed Motherboards and hardrives more than once but how do you reconfigure electronic parts in a Nissan Pathfinder? Have the Company gone totally proprietary so that we have to take it to a Dealership to repair??? Does anyone here have firsthand knowledge of the inner working of the computer systems?

That exactly is the whole "Right to Repair" legislation that is going around.
I've been aware of the discussion but did not think it pertained to vehicles. Good, I hope we can go back to helping ourselves.
Axel, hold my beer! Going out on a limb here with a sideways thought. Our camera is working as it should except for cycling off in time with the logo on the dash. When it comes on it is normal, after it cycles off then on it is light sensitive, kind of looks like old TV when you would mess with the brightness setting. That said, here is my next stab at this. Our car was perfect until a cute blond texting and driving a Suburban smacked us from behind at 15-20 mph. Car took it like a champ, with only minor cosmetic damage and minor misalignments between rear panels. About 2 weeks after the collision, we noticed flickering screens, tailgate closing on my head, gps issues, leading to where we are now. My thought is that it is possible that the electronics in the rear may have affected the whole ball of wax as it is all processors, wires, relays, and antennas. Specifically a rear antenna buried in the bumper that may have been damaged. Car is finally going to the shop on the 31st where they will be checking all that out. They say it could be a collision sensor in an airbag switch for all we know. Will know more soon!

Yeah, body shop worthless regarding issue. Now fighting with my insurance company to address it. On we go. Any luck moving forward over there?
Hi Road king, I posted a few threads re; my failed console. After all was said and done, the whole problem turned out to be the Monitor and I found a more reliable Dealer that quoted me $750 for the part. If you look around this site you will find my posts with the whole sordid tale including the Part number.
The whole episode was a lesson that we are no longer allowed to repair our vehicles because Nissan has the software necessary to link these parts to your vehicle. I was fortunate that I purchased all my used part from eBay and they were refundable and although they were all OK, I could not make them work. I am hoping that a "Right to Repair" legislation is passed very soon.
