I am have a brand new 2024 Pathfinder SV I picked up today. It drives great. My question is that every time I start the vehicle, I get the red seat belt alert and in the middle display, a graphic of the 6 rear seats showing no seat belts are in use, despite no one being in the rear seats. This visual alert remains in the middle of the console for about 1 minute. I find this odd. Is this normal? Why is it showing me the status of the rear passenger seat belts when no one is in the backseat?
