Audio System Malfunction

I'm about a month and 900 miles into a new 2022 Pathfinder SL 4WD with Premium Package and I absolutely love the ride; however, I had a very peculiar incident occur this morning. I started the car via the remote start on the key fob and after I fully started it, there was no sound coming from the speakers. The display was fully operational and I switched between various audio sources, but there was no sound at any volume level. It sounded as though the amplifier that gets the sound to the speakers was not functioning or connected. I reset the audio system (by pressing the power button for ~20 seconds) and tried turning off and on the car (but only after a few minutes), and nothing worked. I'm wondering what will happen after a few hours of the car being off, hopefully the problem will reset itself.

I assume I'll need to take the vehicle in for service, but I wanted to see from the Pathfinder community if anyone else has encountered this issue and whether or not it is something I am able to troubleshoot on my own. Thank you in advance; I appreciate the help.

Wife’s 22 SL with premium package has had radio completely shut off and go blank for a min or so and reboot itself 7-8 times over the almost 12 months we have owned it. Will mention to dealer next oil change.
Is your SiriusXM subscription still active? Apparently some 22's had issue with reboots associated with the SiriusXM subscription status that required a software update to correct.

Yes! Thanks for the info
Hi @CGMAX2K - I am sorry this is happening to you. Please do check back and let us know how this all turns out for you after you visit the dealer. We'd all appreciate that!

Will do
Same thing just happened to me, this morning. I turned on the car... zero sound... I could make calls, but no audio... my apple car play was playing, but no sound... went to the radio... could change stations... no sound. Turned the car off/on... reset the radio... disconnected and reconnected phone... Nothing. Going to let is sit, while Im at work and try again... but seriously... no one has received any answers as to why this happens? Seems like an ongoing issue?
Sorry about the trouble. Try pressing and holding the volume button until the head unit restarts. Hopefully that will clear the no audio condition so you don't have to stop and restart the PF.

Also, if you don't mind, please post back the software version your head unit is using and if you have an active SiriusXM subscription.
This morning, after first start of the day, the head unit froze. Second time since I got the the PF a year ago now. Seemed to be Android related. Android Auto continued playing in the background, but I couldn't do anything with the HU. I pressed and held the volume/power on the HU until it restarted and operation resumed. Thankfully I didn't need to restart the PF. 🤷‍♂️
Thanks for your help!

This was after I fully started the vehicle. I figure I will need to speak to the dealer, but brought this to the attention of other users in the event that it is happening to other people. I have remote started the Pathfinder well over a dozen times with no error, but working with computers I know that bugs often occur randomly and this morning could've have been the lucky chance that it would occur.
This exact same thing is happening to me right now in my 2023 SL 4wd premium package as well!!! It’s super super frustrating!!! This is the 2nd time it’s happened and I’ve only had the car for 2 weeks!
Same thing happened to me today. 2023 Nissan Pathfinder SL Premium Package. Has Nissan been able to offer any resolution?
