As much as I enjoy my Pathfinder, I have found with this car, it is difficult to access and clean the air intake area.
The hood is open, and one can see (on the passenger side), under the front cowl, there is a mesh area that can easily become clogged with leaves and debris that tends to gather there.
I do my best to keep it clean with a soft brush or gentle water spray.
Does anyone have any secrets to 'easily' getting it all cleaned out?
I've attached three photos.
If I am being too nit-picky, please tell me!

@Hebrew Hammer , I totally agree with you, what a pain in my rear, as i live in wooded area. Terrible design turns it into the garbage collector. I use battery-operated vacuum cleaner and it works well.

Thanks, @MikeZ - I appreciate your input. I really thought it was 'just me!' And don't get me started about how the snow accumulates under the cowl!
Like you, I have some trees around which reek havoc with this location on the car. But, I have been using a hose and/or a compressor trying to blow / gently blast the debris away. And yet, I also have a battery operated vacuum cleaner (hanging in the garage, no less!). I hadn't thought to use it.
That will surely do the trick!
Thanks, Mike!
