When I lift the release latch In the upper corner of the 3rd row seat, it will not engage and let the seat go down. How do I correct this. It has happened on only one of the seats. The other seat works fine.

Does the lever feel like it's still got spring tension on it?

I'd start with the simple stuff like making sure nothing is jammed in, around the moving parts.

Just bought a Pathfinder and I am having the same issue. Wire has tension but won’t release the seat. Guess I’m going to have to get under it.

The right seat in the very back will not come down

There is no tension on the lever at all, does that mean the spring has come off or broken, how do I fix this problem?
