I have a 2023 Rock Creek which I bought 5 months ago (9k miles). This week, I have had an issue now twice where when I go to start the car, the engine has a violent rough idle, then the car dies. In both cases, I tried to restart many times and same thing happens. No issues when driving, other than the issue with the car putting itself into neutral while driving. After a number of attempts, I was able to get it going by hitting the gas as soon as the engine turn on, then revving the engine for a few minutes, and immediately putting into drive. Once going, the engine runs smoothly. This has almost left me stranded now twice.
Has anyone seen this issue, and does anyone have ideas on what may be causing this?
