Glad it's fixed. Remember that it COULD be the fix for others. Proper diagnosis is needed to know what the problem actually is.
This is great news! Now you can go back to enjoying and loving the car!!Thought I’d update the post and let you all know that my issue was FIXED. They replaced the tail gate opener actuator (part: UM17AA). Pretty grateful cause after a month riding around with the chime piercing my ears, I really started to despise a car that I love so much. If anyone else is having the same issue, this is probably the fix for you. I engaged Nissan consumer affairs through Twitter and they worked with the dealership to locate the part since supply chain issues have impacted most parts. They were a big help.
This is so inconvenient @ the moment. I can't do any shopping, nor can I access certain things in the rear of my '22 pathfinder. Also it's very annoying driving up n down the streets and freeway hearing a constant beeping sound. Manchester Nissan say's it's common in the Pathfinders, so now I must wait for a part they have ordered for me!!!! So unimpressed!!!!! #nissanThis just started happening to my 22’ platinum pathfinder today. I have an appointment on Tuesday, any pointers on how to get this resolved? Very irritating
I’ve dealt with this before lift gate would not open using any buttons and they could communicate to the power back door control unit ended up replacing that and doing a relearn and it fixed the issue not sure if it’s the same but it would be worth for the dealer to checkThe Liftgate does not open using any of the buttons.
I'm not sure what to do. It seems crazy they can't get some kind of timeline estimate from Nissan, but that's what they're saying.
Couldnt*I’ve dealt with this before lift gate would not open using any buttons and they could communicate to the power back door control unit ended up replacing that and doing a relearn and it fixed the issue not sure if it’s the same but it would be worth for the dealer to check
Update on my liftgate...I took it back to the dealer, who gave me a rental from Enterprise until it was fixed, this Tuesday. Today, 2 days later, they called with the news that they have fixed the problem by replacing the latch mechanism. I picked it up, and it is working the way it should. Fingers crossed!I bought my 22 Pathfinder SL in August. When I got home, I tried the liftgate for the first time (I should have checked it before buying the vehicle!). I have been back to the dealer twice and am waiting for Nissan to tell them what to do. They are going to give me a loaner, as it may take some time to troubleshoot the problem. They have already reset the system and replaced one part (wiring harness to the liftgate, I think). I should have followed my own rule and not bought a first-year production vehicle. I had a 2012 Pathfinder I traded and wish I had it back! I cannot enjoy my new vehicle because I wonder what other issues I will have to deal with. I actually like the vehicle, although I could have done without all the technological wonders they so bragged about. I just want to use my liftgate!
Did you get it sorted by Nissan service? That's what happened to our button. At first it was every now and then but eventually grew to every time we opened the liftgate and not latching when manually lowered. I'd keep an eye out and it if happens again then don't go over speed bumps so you can recreate the issue. Nissan is well aware of the problem.
Having issue with our power lift gate as well. Have the 2022 Platinum 4 months old.Not sure if anybody else has thad the same problem before!
How did they disconnect the chimeI ended up taking the vehicle to another Nissan dealer last week for a second opinion. That dealer believes the problem is with a "power control module" in the dash and has ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the part is backordered. I'll update this thread once it arrives and gets installed. Hopefully it fixes the problem, as I've not been able to use the liftgate for almost 3 months now. The original dealer disconnected the chime a few weeks ago, so at least that's not sounding when the vehicle is moving anymore.
