2022 Power Liftgate Not Working

Looking for some help or opinions on my options.

The power Liftgate on my 2022 SL stopped working in early March. Also, anytime the vehicle is in motion a beeping noise associated with the Liftgate sounds off.

The dealer finally was able to get me in 2.5 weeks later and said it was a failed part they had to order. 1.5 weeks later the part arrives and they install it. Still doesn't fix the Liftgate or the beeping noise.

They say the problem is they cannot get the door to be relearned and is a programming problem they'll have to send to Nissan. Apparently, it's been sent to Nissan Japan.

Here we are 2 months after it stopped working and the dealer can't give me any idea when Nissan may have a fix.

I can't continue to not have use of the Liftgate as I use this vehicle for work. Any opinions on where I go from here? Are my options to just wait an indefinite amount of time for a fix from Nissan or sell a 5 month old vehicle? Try a different dealer?

Thanks for any thoughts.

Glad it's fixed. Remember that it COULD be the fix for others. Proper diagnosis is needed to know what the problem actually is.
Thought I’d update the post and let you all know that my issue was FIXED. They replaced the tail gate opener actuator (part: UM17AA). Pretty grateful cause after a month riding around with the chime piercing my ears, I really started to despise a car that I love so much. If anyone else is having the same issue, this is probably the fix for you. I engaged Nissan consumer affairs through Twitter and they worked with the dealership to locate the part since supply chain issues have impacted most parts. They were a big help.
This is great news! Now you can go back to enjoying and loving the car!!
OP, they replaced that on ours and it worked for a few weeks, back in the shop again. How's yours holding up? Wondering if it's a batch of actuators that might be bad.

This just started happening to my 22’ platinum pathfinder today. I have an appointment on Tuesday, any pointers on how to get this resolved? Very irritating
This is so inconvenient @ the moment. I can't do any shopping, nor can I access certain things in the rear of my '22 pathfinder. Also it's very annoying driving up n down the streets and freeway hearing a constant beeping sound. Manchester Nissan say's it's common in the Pathfinders, so now I must wait for a part they have ordered for me!!!! So unimpressed!!!!! #nissan

The Liftgate does not open using any of the buttons.

I'm not sure what to do. It seems crazy they can't get some kind of timeline estimate from Nissan, but that's what they're saying.
I’ve dealt with this before lift gate would not open using any buttons and they could communicate to the power back door control unit ended up replacing that and doing a relearn and it fixed the issue not sure if it’s the same but it would be worth for the dealer to check

Couldnt*
I bought my 22 Pathfinder SL in August. When I got home, I tried the liftgate for the first time (I should have checked it before buying the vehicle!). I have been back to the dealer twice and am waiting for Nissan to tell them what to do. They are going to give me a loaner, as it may take some time to troubleshoot the problem. They have already reset the system and replaced one part (wiring harness to the liftgate, I think). I should have followed my own rule and not bought a first-year production vehicle. I had a 2012 Pathfinder I traded and wish I had it back! I cannot enjoy my new vehicle because I wonder what other issues I will have to deal with. I actually like the vehicle, although I could have done without all the technological wonders they so bragged about. I just want to use my liftgate!

Update on my liftgate...I took it back to the dealer, who gave me a rental from Enterprise until it was fixed, this Tuesday. Today, 2 days later, they called with the news that they have fixed the problem by replacing the latch mechanism. I picked it up, and it is working the way it should. Fingers crossed!

This happened to us and after 5 trips to the dealer they finally fixed it. Purse was the door latch assembly. When you close the hatch door you will hear the latch try to lock and then it will unlock right away. After a few attempts you can get it to close and hold but get it to the dealer to get fixed. This is the only part replaced during the last visit and it works no problem now.
Hey all. Something similar happened on my 2022 Platinum today. The liftgate opened fine, but then the buttons stopped reacting. I closed it manually and the lock reacted. But once you start moving the beeping started. I already had an appointment scheduled, but after my wife drove around the block over some speedbumps the problem disappeared. Working fine now. So it could be the button or the harness. I imagine if it is shorted then the SW function controlling it would be totally disabled. Could also be the harness to the actuator or the actuator itself. But it is clearly sensed by the SW and blocked there.
That's what happened to our button. At first it was every now and then but eventually grew to every time we opened the liftgate and not latching when manually lowered. I'd keep an eye out and it if happens again then don't go over speed bumps so you can recreate the issue. Nissan is well aware of the problem.

Did you get it sorted by Nissan service?
I have Pathfinder 2022 SL 4WD, four months old, and I have a similar issue with the liftgate: it latched and lost power and didn’t close the liftgate fully since there was no control. I’m currently with the dealer, and for the last 3 hours, they have been trying to figure out the problem. It's the 2nd time my car being at the dealer in just four months :(
Not sure if anybody else has thad the same problem before!

Having issue with our power lift gate as well. Have the 2022 Platinum 4 months old.
Took it to a dealer and they have not come across the issue. They tried to reprogram it but nothing !
Mine all of a sudden stopped working after 6500 miles a 4 month old vehicle. The remotes and button inside the car don’t work. Tailgate buttons work but when gate closes it does not close all the way. Have to push down on bottom of gate to lock. Anyone else having issues. Maybe a potential recall on this one. Thanks for any feedback.
I ended up taking the vehicle to another Nissan dealer last week for a second opinion. That dealer believes the problem is with a "power control module" in the dash and has ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the part is backordered. I'll update this thread once it arrives and gets installed. Hopefully it fixes the problem, as I've not been able to use the liftgate for almost 3 months now. The original dealer disconnected the chime a few weeks ago, so at least that's not sounding when the vehicle is moving anymore.
How did they disconnect the chime
