...and promise to provide dealer cost on winter rubber and rims when they come back in availability (written on the contract :) )
Regardless, ALWAYS compare to tire prices online. There's a HUGE markup on tires.

What I have found in buying online tires is that if you keep them for a while, the balancing, rotations, summer/winter switch, flat repair etc. eats your lunch. Up here we have KalTire - more costly than say, 1010tires or Tirerack but after a couple years you are WAY ahead dealing with them. Unless you like changeovers and repairing your own flats.

I think the trend is moving away from mounting/remounting tires, and instead, having a dedicated winter and summer set of wheels in climates that get snow. If you shop wisely, you have a wide choice of affordable rims to choose from and the real payoff comes if you can strike a bargain on the tires.

I haven't had to deal with sitting in a tire dealer showroom waiting for my tires to be swapped out in over 20 years.

Correct, I have plain black steel rims and winters, usually the place you get them from swap out each year for free, might need to negotiate that into my purchase if I go with Nissan for that, thanks to all for the tips on checking online though for prices, I probably would have forgotten, I will ask to see their pc screen though to make sure it's cost !

It's more likely going to be a paper warehouse invoice of a bulk purchase. Dealers buy in bulk, different sizes, brands and styles. That's how they make their $ on the markup. It really doesn't matter that he can show you the invoice, only that his bottom-line price is lower than what you can get elsewhere for the same tire.

Sorry Bye Bye Toyota.
Hi icn_nxtime,

May I know where and who you got this sweet deal from? I'm interested to get what you have. Very attractive price you have. Thanks.

2015 Pathfinder Platinum paid $34,000 in California (Pre-tax)

Hi,
My name is Sid and I just joined PFTalk Forum. Recently I purchased 2015 Pathfinder Platinum (including cargo package, carpet and mud guard) Midnight Jade exterior and black leather interior. MSRP was around $42,000 and I grab this SUV in $34,000 + California tax and DMV fee.

I'm not sure I got great deal but sure less than and other dealers in bay area and lower than truecar unusual low price :)

I love the car but notice two small issues so far:
1) Sometime car doesn't detect 16 GB USB pen drive where I have stored songs.
2) Car get confuse if you connect multiple Bluetooth devices. I connect to A device and show B device name. And sometime doesn't connect with any phone with car start up.

Congrats sid and welcome to the forum...thats a nice deal you got for a platinum.

I will try connecting a usb driver and report the results in a few days. On the BT front, I have so far connected to my only phone and it always connected. But most of the time, the callee would complian about how bad the call quality is through BT. They report not only the road noise but also about the volume being too low. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix to it?

Sorry for late response, I purchased from nissan gilroy.

I would advice to purchase platinum model instead of SL+premium package. Difference is not much but when you sale car you will have upper hand, don't need to explain you have premium package. And price negotiation you can do better in platinum instead of sl+premium.

Sorry Bye Bye Toyota.

So $ 38.7 k all in? That is a great deal, which dealer did you buy from?

Just picked up a Pearl White 2015 4x2 SV w/ tow package, rear bumper protection, top rails last night.
Sticker was just north of $39k.
All said and done we paid $32k.

Thought it was a good deal until I found this site and saw some of yours. Wow, you guys got some really good deals.
(I'm new to the forum also obviously.)

2015 SL 4X4 W/Premium, including Splash Guards, Real Bumper protector, Carpeted Floor Mats, and Cargo Package. Pearl white/almond. MSRP $43,240. OTD $37,000.

Also included a free 7 years/100,000 miles powertrain warranty and free two years oil and filter changes.

That's provided by the dealer for every new Nissans bought from them, at least at the moment. You will need to have the vehicle serviced there to get the benefit. Not sure how much value it has since it only has two extra years, but it does not cost anything anyway. The vehicle price I got from that dealer was already the lowest I could find from local dealers, even without considering the powertrain warranty. The location of the dealership happens to be closest to my home and my workplace. so getting my Pathfinder serviced there is not a problem.

So is it a legal Nissan document or just a promise by the dealer to cover the powertrain for an additional 2 years? Seems to me that you shouldn't be beholden to any one dealer to have a warranty honored. What happens if you have a falling out with them or the dealer goes belly-up?

I am from Saskatchewan, Canada. I bought a 2015 SL 4x4 and I paid $41k (all in) for mine. That included the all weather mats (carpeted mats come standard), nitrogen filled tires, hood deflector, $100 in-store credit and an ipad mini.
Ours also come with a block heater which is added as part of the PDI and charged to the customer at $3-$400 (in this country it is not an item anyone would choose to delete). Splash guards are also on every Pathfinder.
