The vast majority of the people that come to this forum already own a Pathfinder so this might not be the best platform to advertise it. I'd advertise it on sites like autotrader or similar.
IMO, I think it could be a bit high but that depends a lot on how the market is in a 100-200 mile radius from your location.

Looks super clean and a top of the line model w/ basically no miles on it. I'd sell it to carvana or similar. Lots of guys on other forums I frequent have gotten insane buy prices from Carvana and the likes and it's super easy. All from the comfort of your home.
No kidding? I would have figured Carvana would have been closer to $18-20K. Can't you counter their offer? My thoughts are the CVT issues on the earlier models like a 2014 may be effecting the resale.
I hear you on selling private party. I gave up on selling my late model daily drivers that way for the reasons you suggest. Random strangers off the street are way too nuts for me to be bothered.
I do think ~$21K selling outright to a dealer is a bit of a stretch unless you are buying something from them in the same transaction. High end retail is probably ~$23K in today's crazy market.
Top end I am seeing private party value is under $18K.
I'm confused more so than normal.. You said a few posts above that the highest Carvana would offer was $16500.

I looked at placing an ad on Autotrader. They assign their opinion of your asking price, so if I placed an ad there they would announce to prospective buyers that my vehicle is overpriced.
My wife read today that Carvana is in expansion mode in my area, so maybe they are paying premium to build an inventory.

Today KBB says $25500 "good" trade-in value for my 2019 SV 4x4 w/ 61300 miles on it. That's more than I paid for it in Oct 2019 w/ 24K miles on it. I do believe I'd have a difficult time actually getting $25K if I were to walk into a dealership right now.

For due diligence, I took the car over to CarMax. (Remember, I am selling this for an estate.) The 15 minute appraisal took well over 30 minutes, and they lowered the offer by $200! No reason given. Made me really feel like a valued repeat customer.

I have zero experience with Carmax, Carvana, etc, but I've never heard of any nonsense from Carvana. What ever price is negotiated from home, is what they cut you a check for when they come to pickup the vehicle.
