Hello all. About a day or 2 ago my pathfinders liftgate won't latch shut. It just stays open. Has anyone had any issues with this before? I wanted to ask before I spend 200 bucks on a new latch assembly. I have the SV model manual liftgate.

Yes the latch is motorized. I didn't hear any noises when I tried locking/unlocking. I did try moving the latch mechanism with a flathead screwdriver and it moves freely
