Hello! My liftgate suddenly stopped responding to all closing devices. I can open it using the fob and liftgate button on the dash but it will not close when using the same. I have to manually close it (I do it gently). Any solutions would be greatly appreciated as the dealerships seems to love the $1000+ repair figure on anything that has gone wrong on this vehicle lately :/

You can do a search for problems with the liftgate. A few people reported issues with it and I think pressing and holding the liftgate button on the liftgate for a few seconds resets the mechanism. That solved the problem for many.

I'm having the same issues with my 2020 Sl Pathfinder. All the buttons work for opening (even foot), but nothing closes the rear liftgate hatch without manually softly closing it towards a closing position. Any solution? The dealership can't located the solution for the issue and has it for over 5 weeks now.
