Brake Booster issue
I posted a link to a video of my problem. I have replaced the brake booster on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder but now I have a very soft pedal and it goes right to the floor and then stops very suddenly. I don’t know if it’s the master cylinder. I don’t think it is. I think the brake booster I got from the auto parts store is not a good one. Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thank you.

Isn't there an adjustable rod from the booster to the master cylinder?
Yes there is. I calibrated that for the master cylinder. I also re adjusted the rod to the brake pedal last night. It’s better but it’s not like
It was originally. Softer pedal and then it will stop hard at the bottom of the pedal.
Assuming you didn't touch the brake lines (so no reason to bleed the system), if the pedal is going all the way down, it has to be related to that adjustment. Also check inside, adjustment of the pedal to the booster.
How is the pedal with the engine off? If low, that will confirm what I'm thinking.
Did the link to my YouTube video work? Is the loose pushrod normal?
I had not seen the video. Don't know about the push rod but definitely there should not be anything rattling in there.
I think I got a lemon from Autozone. Dealer says not being produced by Nissan anymore. I’m going to order another one and see if I have better luck. I’ll let you know what I find. Thanks Jman! I appreciate your help.
