So disappointed! just bought a brand new Nissan pathfinder 2023 just two weeks ago. Sunroof hasn't been open for last 4 days. It is raining today water start coming out from ceiling lights. What do I do! HELP!

Called dealer, they are telling me to bring it in and they will clean the roof drain to fix the problem. But this is a brand new suv!
Should I ask my dealer to give me a new vehicle? I am worried about internal damage.

P.S. This is my 3rd Pathfinder. Owned 2004 pathfinder SL till 2018 when I bought pathfinder SL 2017. Two weeks ago I traded in and bought 2023 platinum in brilliant gray with chestnut interior.

This is crazy! So glad my 23’ Rock Creek didn’t come with a sunroof!
I have the same problem with my 2022 sv 4w pathfinder. I took it to the dealer they changed the water drain hoses and yesterday rain in nyc and is still leaking rain from the roof. I don't know what is wrong with this vehicle. I cal nissan America they told me to take it to the dealer again to get it fixed.

That's is really messed up! I wonder if that qualifies under lemon law. I am going to check CT law. I paid top $ for this car. This shouldn't be happening to any car not to mention brand new car with 500 miles in it!

this is not good for the new SUV.My 2022 platium is fine so far
For what it's worth, we have a 2014 Platinum and it leaked like that several times. I cleaned the moon roof gasket and roof, ran it up / down several times and stopped the leak. Last leak was about a year ago. Also I noticed under the passenger front floor mat, there is a VIN plate. I removed the plastic cover and there was water under there. Have no idea what that comes from.
I have a 13' Platinum that I got two years ago and so far, no issues. Hard to believe that a newer vehicle like yours having issues like this. Not good
Learned my lesson from sunroofs. My 16 leaked bad, I finally siliconed it permanent. Never ever again a sun roof.

Not Good, they should give a new vehicle. It seems like the newer vehicle are carelessly assembled. I say that because my 21 year old Maxima with Sunroof never leaked once........
My pathfinder plat. sunroof seal had to be replaced due to it peeling up and chaffing from what I can only assume was from the car wash.
They only replaced the front section

The replacement is lifting after a month.

I am no expert, however you may be the only one that can fix it properly. If it's just a sealer you may try GE clear silicone, apply with a caulking gun & do it yourself. "Just saying".
