Can anyone help identify what fluid this might be and what hose needs to be replaced?

Could be your power steering line. Have you noticed any fluids getting low? Transmission, power steering or oil?

Yes- oil is getting low. Just did an oil and filter change. Leak is still there but clearly oil because the color changed with the oil change. It ends up in the little gutter under the filter but the only place I can see a hint of a leak is that hose pictured.

OP- probably need to remove the splash guard under the engine and clean everything. Then start engine and let it idle for a while and look for the leak. You could also add UV dye if you have a black light. Driving around with even a small leak can get oil all over the place making it hard to pinpoint the source.

Helpful tip on the UV dye. I never heard of that. I do have a blue light. Will give it a shot.

This is exactly what the leak was coming from.

Note to self for next time: Don't pull the hose connecting the oil cooler. That's COOLANT! 😅😅
