Okay, so who HASN'T had an issue with their Pathfinder?

Its been both sobering and disheartening to read all the issues going on for 2013/2014 Pathfinder owners on here. Its actually easy to lose perspective and assume everyone with one has some significant issue going on, which is the last thing I would've expected from a Nissan product. So, if you have a 2013/2014 model, with at least six months of ownership and/or 3,000 miles behind you, and no judder, airbag light, random rattle, loose molding, or alien butt probe coming out of the driver's seat, I would love to hear from you.

Since ours is only a few weeks old, with less than 600 miles, and still on its second tank of fuel, I'm hardly a candidate for this thread. Still keeping my fingers and toes crossed that nothing major develops with this wonderful new car that the family loves.

Bought our '13 SL Premium on June 26th. We have about 3600 miles and no problem. I was at my dealership for a free oil change and I saw a red Pathfinder getting a new transmission. There was a new 3.5L Altmia sitting on a lift next to the Pathfinder. Maybe it was there for the shudder problem too. I'm just glad our Pathfinder is trouble free so far.

I have a '13 PF PL bought in Aug 2013. I now have roughly 4900 miles on it. I thoroughly enjoy the vehicle and have not had any issues as reported in the forums. We took it to Yellowstone in Sept and it drove like a charm from Denver and back.

No Problem

I have had my PF since December 2012. I have had it doing off road in Colorado this summer. No problems then and now. I am very pleased with the vehicle.

Although you've narrowed the criteria a bit, there was an earlier thread on this same topic here.

I think it would be interesting if one of the mods would maintain a database for us (simple spreadsheet) of model year, build date, date of purchase, # miles and problems (if any, experienced). I'd be willing to compile and maintain it if site management would post it as a sticky. It may be a way (albeit unscientific) to determine if any correlation exists with build date and to predict when people might start to experience issues.

27,000 km and all is well. Replaced passenger sensor when we first got the PF and no other problems since then. We really enjoy this car esp. since we now have snow and icy roads. Looking forward to trailering our Goldwing motorcycle to Yuma AZ for the winter to escape the snow.

Thanks for the link. I went back to see if someone had posted a similar thread topic, but did not stumble upon it (I hate redundant threads too). I'll do a more expansive search next time. Perhaps the mods can merge the two threads if neccessary to clean things up.

It is reassuring to see so many positive comments in both threads though, and how if you move past the seemingly ever present transmission issues, the vehicle is itself well received, and even loved, by some of its owners. I myself really like it, and am totally envious of my wife that its her daily driver, and not mine. However, I have a plan to change that in the next 18-24 months when the Hybrid should hopefully be out and any issues with that model well detailed and (hopefully) addressed.

The Pathfinder Hybrid is out now. See link.

I haven't seen one advertised at my local dealer yet however...
