The 2017 Prices Paid Thread

Now that the 2017 model year Pathfinder has arrived in showrooms, it's time to start a new thread on this topic. Post your model year 2017 Pathfinder purchase price here. Be sure to state the OTD (out-the-door) price for the most meaningful comparison. Your location is very important also, because prices differ significantly depending on where you bought it.

Congrats that looks like a really good price considering OTD. I tested the vehicle here on Long Island, was given "the deal" which basically was $800 below MSRP! Since I am not ready to buy one yet I didn't try to negotiate.

Given that some of the local dealers are advertising 2016 Platinum 4x4 for around 34-36K which probably includes ~3.5K Nissan incentives add that to the price and a good price for 2017 here would be around 39-40K + TTL (including theater pkg). I think it is packaged really nicely and I save some dough by not getting qx60, but can't make up my mind

I was quite pleased with the price. It was comparable to what others were asking for a 2016 and even one 2015 and the local inventory on 2017s was pretty shallow. Perhaps one of the 2016s could have been bought for less after a lot of PITA haggling at a dealership but I wanted the updated content of the 2017 and the folks at Jenkins just made it so easy and even pleasant to purchase from them. Plus, it was the only "Sandstone" color I have seen yet. We are loving the car so far.

Welcome to the forum! I'd be interested in hearing your story how you dealt with your 2014 Pathy issues and still went ahead and purchased a newer one.

I can't really say I had issues. It was overall a good vehicle. I just had issues with the look of the front end (Minivan), lack of projector headlights and 5,000lb tow limit. I will say it has done a pretty good job the past 3 years pulling my 4600lb boat around, but the 3rd row is useless while im towing along with the trunk.

The 17 gives me the cushion I need towing wise. The new headlights are great along with the boxier front end. I noticed the increase in steering sensitivity right off the bat and the suspension changes. Very glad they made those improvements, it really does feel sharper. The increase in power is welcome and the feel of the tranny is better imo. Going from a SV to a SL helps to, but overall I like the 17's quite a bit.

That's pretty good price. From the tax % it appears you are in Nassau county like myself, where did you purchase your vehicle and do you recommend the the dealer? What made you buy it from this dealer, any perks such as free oil change? Was trade value fair compared to what you saw on kbb/edmunds?
Thanks!
