The new Armada is based off of the QX80 Platform, which gets up to 20 MPG/Highway. I don't see why it shouldn't do that or better, but either way, EPA numbers are still long off from being available.

It does have a new 390 HP engine, capable of towing 8,500 lbs. so if you have a good size boat to tow, this may be the Nissan for you.

That's exactly right the dealerships won't be able to give them away once the gas gets to $3 -$4 Per gallon

Either way, a mile or two in either direction doesn't mean a whole lot, it will be a fuel hog, and that will certainly become an issue when gas gets pricey again.

I purchased a brand new 2004 Toyota land cruiser, and all was good until like 10 months later gas was almost $6 a gallon and it was hard to drive that wonderful SUV. Amazing how a price jump of 2-3 $$ can change the way you think about mpg
